Patterns (Aquarius)

I shuffled up the cards and scored by suits,

I played thousands of times on my small bed,

Was a card joined with others in shared roots?

Or was it alone, to its fellows dead?

My horoscope was extraordinary,

With its right angles and oppositions,

Greatness lay inside the contrary,

Truths could be found within superstitions.

I was the rising Age of Aquarius,

My brother was the descending Pisces,

I was older, my rule was precar'ious,

Much depended on my exegeses.

I've got a John Nash pattern addiction,

Killer Sudoku's my favorite fiction.
