Deontology
For decades Me felt a contradiction,
Between philosophy and game theory,
The latter depended on a fiction,
That Bentham was right beyond all query.
Philosophy was alluring riddle,
Me loved Kant's unstinting deontol'gy,
And the all-too-Hume'an sens'ble middle,
Not just old Jer'my's rad'cal psychol'gy.
Game theory lacked sufficient ambiv'lence,
'Tween it and Jer'my was equiv'lence,
Its rigor meant a max'mizing story,
And rigor mortis for its poor quarry.
Me changed My mind 'cuz of You, dear Holly,
"Twas Your paper on the good old trolley.
